The windstorm left branches all over the yard plus we took a drive in the woods and the windstorm had broken lots of spruce bark beetle killed trees right off at the trunk and flattened them to the ground. Many of them were really big trees too! It made easy pickings for firewood. We went out today and cut up a few of of the downed trees and hauled them back home for the woodpile.
