My Alaska Life
There’s still 2 feet of snow and as the weather warms up it starts softening and you can’t walk on it anymore without falling through, so Jeff and I shoveled a path to the outhouse. He started on one end and I on the other. He used the ingenious trick of axing it and then shoveling. Once you break the top layer the layer underneath is soft. Lots of work for us for a couple of days but worth it to not fall through the snow on our way to the outhouse any longer.
