We don’t have a washing machine so we heat water on the wood stove then put soap and hot water in a bucket and wash our clothes in the bucket by hand. Then we put clean warm water in another bucket and rinse the clothes. Then we wring the water out and hang the clothes to dry on a clothesline out on the back porch. Pretty old fashioned but it works.
