My Alaska Life
The property where the cabin is used to be an Indian village in the early 1900’s. This old woodshed was here long before Jeff moved here. It is probably 100 years old and Jeff still uses it. However, this winter the roof broke with all the snow as you can see in the first pic. He shoveled the snow off and Jeff and his friend put a pole inside to hold up the beam which straightened the roof which you can see in the second pic. However, it still needs to have the rafters replaced so Jeff cut down a bunch of skinny beetle killed spruce – 3rd pic- and brought them home for the project. It’s on his Spring to do list. REPAIR THE OLD WOODSHED.
