My Alaska Life

People love to go to the Alaska State Fair to see the big vegetables. Even though summers are short our crops grow big because we have so much sunlight all summer long. I entered one of our potatoes and won a blue ribbon. It was over a pound which isn’t near the record of 4 pounds but it still won this year. We will actually probably still dig up some bigger potatoes. We haven’t finished harvesting yet.
