Got the big boat out and put it in the water along with every other person in the state. I’m exaggerating a bit but really there were a lot of people out on the river on this Memorial Day weekend. The river gets so rough with that much traffic. Jeff’s river boat has more of a flat bottom than a v bottom and every time a boat goes by it causes a set of waves and instead of his boat slicing through the waves like a v bottom might, his boat goes up on each wave and slams down hard… Bam, bam bam, bam….and then another boat comes….more waves…bam, bam, bam, bam. It was a rough ride to the cabin but nice and relaxing once we got there.
