Look at these pics of trees along the river that beavers have chewed on down at the base of the trees. They take down the biggest healthiest trees as well as any logger. I guess they have to chew constantly to keep their teeth from growing too long and then when they get these huge trees down they eat the tops of the trees which are tender to eat.
