My Alaska Life
Summer solstice is a time of warmth and sunlight. The first pic is taken at 1:30am. You can still see the sunset in the horizon and it’s barely dark at all. Then the 2nd picture is taken at 3:30am. It’s already light out even though the sun doesn’t rise until about 4:15 am. It’s important to have curtains that block out the light if you want to get any sleep at all.
