My Alaska Life

The snow finally disappeared from the raspberry patch and I started raking it out and cutting back all the dead canes. It’s a big patch and a lot of work. I worked on it for 4 days. Jeff helped me pick up all the piles of debris I cut and raked up and helped me haul it out of the patch. We filled up and carried out tarp fulls of waste. Once all the debris was cleaned out of the patch it looks barren but soon it will start fill out with green growth and hopefully we’ll get lots of berries this year.
