My Alaska Life

Bowhunting season opened up for moose in our area and Jeff and John both like to bowhunt. It’s been pretty rainy but they’ve gone out a number of times to look. Only moose they saw were a couple of bulls that didn’t meet the requirement to shoot. In order to shoot them moose have to have antlers with a spike or a fork (pretty small and young but not babies) or 3 brow tines or 50 inch span on the antlers (pretty big). The bulls they saw were in between that so they couldn’t shoot them. Here they are disappearing into the wood for the evening.
