My Alaska Life

We’re not the only people out here on the river enjoying life. Our friends and neighbors, Chris and Tracy, live less than a mile away. We rarely get to visit with them. It’s mostly just a quick hi or a wave as they pass by on the river. Like us, they are busy this time of year hauling water and cutting and stocking up on firewood. However, we made a stop by their place and got a tour of their homestead and chatted about life on the river. They raise chickens and we were lucky enough to be gifted some of the gorgeous fresh eggs they collected.
