Here we are out snowmachining. We’ve had a lot of snow this winter and you can see just how deep it is for moose to get around in. To the left of Jeff’s snowmachine track you can see moose tracks. I was wondering why the tracks were so massive but soon found out when I saw the moose making them. It’s not just one but a line of them tramping through belly deep snow. Most of the time when I see moose there is only 1 or 2 of them together but in the winter they hang out together and help each other out. The lead moose breaks trail for the others to follow making it easier to get around.
