My Alaska Life
Cow Parsnip, also known as wild celery is a flowering plant in the carrot family commonly found in Alaska. Jeff is highly allergic to it and chops it down anytime he sees one come up in the garden or yard. It is a very big plant and grows thickly all over the forest. It is known to give most people an allergic reaction when touched but for those who know how to handle it it’s often used as food. It’s native name is Pushki.
